my doggy

Oh goodness. These last few hours have been as intense as when I was in child birth. My doggy went to the vets to have his first ever operation. He’s 21. It broke my heart leaving him there. He didn’t understand what was going on.

I’ve just had a call from the vet and he is conscious after surgery. They’ve had to take out 10 of his teeth. He had really bad gums. I am going to fetch him at 4.40. Please send him light. He is my little darling. He’s so brave. I hope he will recover fast. I am going to do all I can to make him comfortable. He’s a miracle!

    1. Oh Lucy. Glad you are online. I have been a wreck. I know it’s hard for people who don’t love animals to understand but he has been through so much with me. My companion. I am so proud of him! I wish I could fetch him now. X

      1. I do understand – my beloved cat Terry was desperately ill at the end of last summer. My heart was in my mouth the whole time. Vets are lovely people, they will take good care of your baby boy and soon he will be home with you to spoil and fuss x
