Hit Nail Head Dale. The book I am writing has a chapter about this. I once had to find a rental home and was almost homeless. My son helped me. It is so quick to fall into that situation.
I gave my house to my ex wife, and now have to rent, but finding a place with two dogs is not easy

we have a place now, but it was quite difficult because we had to move out of our last place quickly due to the landlord selling up
That happened to me. Phew glad you are both sorted. It makes us ever more compassionate about the situation. I sit with homeless people and their pets, who refuse to give them up. They end up in rescue or worst still council pounds. Animal Rights people are being silenced on social media due to clicks and bullying.
doesn’t stop us though… You have to stand up for what you believe
For sure brother. Search your area for volunteer work for the homeless, you would be great. Just being a friend for a moment will and can save a life.
