Technology and Safety: Addressing UK’s Modern Challenges

Aside from the million things happening here, unbelievable tales to say the least… Huge congratulations 🎊 to Ben Leo 🇺🇸. Love to Bev. Wow 💕

With all the protests happening across the UK, I’ve been wondering if anyone has considered setting up designated protest areas to contain them. That way, people trying to get to work could arrive on time, public transport would be less affected, and emergency services would have clearer access.

Please accept my apologies. I’ve been very busy with animal welfare lately and haven’t kept up with current events, though I did watch a brief summary last night. Like many others, my main concern is the undocumented, off-grid individuals arriving in the UK. How are our policing and security systems adapting to thousands of men appearing on our shores, especially given their underground economy? And what about the right of women and girls to feel safe, both online and in our communities?

Moving on from that point, if technology can be misused by a stalker to track someone, surely we can also use it for good. Can we not detect the origin of the terrible fires that are increasingly occurring on our land.

Anyway, here are my flowers! I’m chuffed. By the way, the capsule-shaped object is symbolic of a rocket, GB News—and believe it or not, some wild dolphins! Patrick really nailed the commentary. Another happy ending!

A huge hug to Donny across the shore. Proud of you, lovely. Keep going. God Bless. 🤗

Tools for Cowards. Bloggy Afternoon Soon. Oh yes!

Looking ahead to a bloggy afternoon. I am behind, since I am shattered. This is due to losing out on sleep during my busiest annual phase with work. I am used to eight rooms. With just two to take care of at my homestay, the workload is more than manageable. Though I also had friends stay on the top floor, then my lot of pets are a daily commitment. not to mention the care of my heavenly container pots in the yards!

The washing is a perpetual cycle. Literally … And there’s been community projects here and there. it’s a heatwave. Boom! Good to be useful. Good to be busy. Good to be here. You’re welcome!

I play my Alexa on low throughout the night to avoid hearing my guests thumping around. Their body weight determines the extent of the noise on the ceiling. Since November 2022 the Alexa has been a part of the harassment package I have contended with. At 3.45 am the volume climbs up. I have in the past actually watched the sound on the app slide across while being hands free. In turn, the burst of volume wakes me during the prime of my sleep. It also disturbs my pets and sometimes the guests. Since it starts to get light around 4am, I get up and potter. So it’s rather a cruel cycle with the ease of today’s abundance of hacking tools for cowards.

But anyway, I have researched the topic of keylogging and cyber harassment. Plus stalking and loss of privacy extensively. It’s quite the thing out there. Staying positive, dating myself. A lot’s been going on. More later. Loving those tailored suits across the pond too! Very dapper. Men are nailing fashion these days. From casual to formal. Prints, textiles, ties and jackets.

Housekeeping next, then I’ll be back shortly. By the way my little gypsy style snug had a lick of paint. Cute and traditional. Cosy. Nice. And I just said goodbye to guests, realising I looked blooded. I carried out a vase of dead lilies from the hallway. All that orange pollen from the middle of the anthers stuck to my chin and vest top. I am multi-tasking right now!

Finding My Voice Amidst Change: Weekend Reflections

Oh my! How quickly the world is changing. I’ve been taking a lot in! And I have stuff to say about many topics.

For me I’ve been existing with a combination of daydreaming, some foreboding. Music, nature and design in small doses. So anyway, I am updating this blog over the weekend. Because if I don’t keep my small corner here, I go into the abyss and we should never be silenced. Love to all. Stay tuned.

Reviving Local Journalism: The Need for Independent Voices

I am a total advocate of freedom of speech. though I don’t believe in sending death threats or dominating any type of hidden agenda. Freedom of Speech is to have an independent voice. And Freedom of Speech should never be abused to intimidate any individual, as a result of personal grudges.

And I believe the UK needs more journalism from enthusiasts for the real world. As too many of us are reliant on opinions often bought about by lack of experience and/or knowledge. I enjoy GB News updates. They give a swift ‘real time’ account of events. And such reports are often an ‘eye opener.’.

During these unstable times, we should honour the messengers. Patrick Christys, an advocate of his own voice, revealed a video on behalf of GB News. The video shows a woman in her tent. Her Yard. And. If she is genuine, I will give her a home and work.

I imagined how different my life could be today, if I had her on my side. How much of the bad stuff would have been stopped? That said, tents camped up anywhere are not something any district needs. Particularly in tourist spots. The world needs to look at their own back yards. To clear up the mess. To make their piece of land somewhere their natives can be proud of. Because all this crap has to end.

These people are risking their lives by hopping from one country to another until they find gold. They are not truly aware of what lies ahead. I do feel sad for the situation. It is up to the countries they are fleeing to make it absolutely clear what’s really happening. To explain the structure of ‘people smuggling.’.

‘Asylum seekers’ and ‘illegal migrants’ (seeking financial dependency from the UK,) are two very different things – and these extremes should be divided. No country should feel shamed into losing their own organic culture, because … culture is art. And that’s a beautiful thing. British people should not become doormats for non permissive travellers who have absolutely no regard for our heritage and values.

A comparable for instance is if you don’t like your job, you look for another. You discuss your prospects. You don’t just put your stuff down on someone else’s desk, then expect a medal. It’s called common decency.

Amen.
