Roald Dahl is my favourite author of all time. That’s not saying that many others are equivalent in terms of talent. But Roald Dahl opened corridors and gateways in my mind that still remain. Here’s an enchanting spot Burton Dassett Country Park in Warwickshire that I’ve been visiting for over 20 years. Sheep roam freely and the views are just fantastic. You can see seven counties when the day is clear like this. A great place to chill out and let the world pass you by.
