Last month, you may recall me telling you all about a beautiful cottage in Glossop, owned by a friend of mine. A wonderful landlady. The space is decorated to ‘designer’ standards, restoring each room to the very best way a stone dwelling could possibly look in its entirety.

I wrote most of  my forthcoming book at Park View Cottage. A memory that will stay with me. Directly opposite is the park where I spotted a doggy just like my Foley. Glossop town is enchanting and about a ten minute walk away. There’s a lovely chip chop and Chinese take away just down the road too!

A couple of pubs that looked fabulous (although, I didn’t visit.) And a little well equipped supermarket. If you are looking for a beautiful break in the Peak District with panoramic scenery, very friendly locals – a home that’s also pet friendly. Please consider this wonderful cottage. Park View cottage is such a romantic place to stay, whether you go with a friend or alone with your hound! You won’t be disappointed.
