Retreat for February #diary Live like no-one is watching. It’s a good place.

I drive back to Yorkshire today to tie up loose ends. Then I am preparing to travel to the North of Yorkshire late Monday for two weeks of silent meditation and a diet of fruit and water. I’m winding down ….

It’s a great way to detox the mind, body and soul. It will be gruelling as I will be sitting still for up to 20 hours a day – but, I do enjoy putting myself through periodic sessions of inner cleansing and inward solitude.

I’m going to a good place with other ‘nomadic’ types that travel from all over the world for this. I feel privileged to be a part of such a great journey.  For others who meditate, tune in, we can find each other and send peace to the tougher situations the world is currently facing.

I know that silent transmissions of love and abundance can be heard more than anything else. There is love everywhere. Spending too much time online or in chaotic situations can take us away from our destiny and purpose.

On my return I will be busy and amongst other things I wish to pursue my part-time hobby of writing from heart, with complete passion.

As an openly spiritual personal I am aware I have some ‘negative’ energy attached to me that will spiral out of control unless I relinquish it in a safe environment. This is all  part of the circle of life and ‘we’ as individuals have to recognise how to balance the impact of such things. We do this with a direct connection with the divine – I call it ‘chi.’

I’ll be back in March with new material. I love everyone, I love haters, perpetrators and those who have inset resentment. I want to love you as much as you should love your ‘self.’ It starts with forgiveness, If you can forgive,  your lives will be purposeful for the right reasons. Colours more vivid, simpler things appeal – you will be awake and it’s a beautiful place to co-exist and create. join me! Start today and live like no-one is watching.

Angel #GuestBlog by One of my Dearest Friends

Such a beautiful memoir of how one of my very closest friends Romana became an animal advocate. I would do anything for this woman.

My journey towards Todd’s Welfare Society is not one that I planned or even ever thought about.  A dog by the name of Angel is the reason that today I am part of this wonderful organisation and even though I have never met Angel or am ever likely to do so, I am eternally grateful to Angel for she has truly changed my life.

Sitting on YouTube one evening a particular video caught my eye and that was of Angel, a dog that had been deliberately starved.  As I watched her recovery the pain and guilt that I felt had no bounds.  This was a dog that had been starved by a foster carer who had ample of food stock in the house.  The wonderful rescue team ‘Rescue from the Hart’ helped Angel to recover and I am pleased to say that today Angel is healthy and in a loving forever home.

‘The girl in the cotton gown’

The moonlight caught her breast as she sat near the window in a white cotton gown – adorned with the softest lace. Her child nourished, content … all silent, apart from the distant sound of fish oxidating from the surface of the ovalur, greeny blue pond, then, the feint rustle of perennial fern trees and fine branches creaking, gently in the breeze – just after sunset. It was as though they were dancing for her …The girl in the cotton gown.

She sent love to the stars whilst her child slept softly, still, in her arms … rocking, gently, slowly. A majestic vision of empathy and inclusion for all, reflected in her eyes as she gazed at the meadow, curvy hill tops and pastel clouds before her.

Candles burn incense- ‘essence of history’ – entwined in light, as shadows on the bare brick wall danced for the night, inspiring her dreams for tomorrow. For every flicker belonged to her, she is love.

The girl in the cotton gown.

Candles, many more – lavender, frankincense – geranium – placed alongside the crispest cotton you ever did see. For all that was natural gave her the purest energy, freshly delivered from angels.

Then, the next year they returned to almost the same place. He played Beethoven whilst holding their child safely, as she sat on his knee – they were laughing, scribbling, playing with words and colour – whilst she fed the baby on a linen soft boudoir chair – near the window, over looking the lake. The girl in the cotton gown – ever evolving with love and radiance. She is a healer and so they are, will be and can. For that is what love does.

I would truly die, rather than let anyone hurt them. Family is transmission, love, infinite. It is beautiful and pure. Why would anyone want to unduly harm such beauty with hateful words, jealousy and malice. Yet we must forgive as one. For many others know not what they do. We can make them better. We can send them love. Love is for all – love is one. You are beautiful. The girl in the cotton gown.

We are healers … it is quiet, still, no effort – love works for us. Let the world hear good words, do good deeds – rejoice in all new life, eternally, like – the girl in the cotton gown.
