June #diary

I have been pretty exhausted. More mental tiredness than physical – but not in a harmful way. A year ago I never imagined things would be like this today. We need to know that life can change in any direction pretty quickly. My life is currently chaotic. I do not have my own kitchen or private garden. Everywhere is public and this takes some getting used to when you are used to spending days or weeks even, in your own head space. There is a balance. I had hoped in my younger years I would be leading a life of leisure by now, but not the case. Yet a part of me would not have it any other way.

I do miss though, not being able to find time to just write in a quiet location, so grabbing a few days away here and there is a life line. I am not posh and whilst I love the thought of being in splendid hotels I would rather just find little spaces to source my inner craft of mood boarding for my project, my writing and enjoying photography. Talking of hotels … beam me up!

My street is still good but the new place is attracting a bit of controversy for no particular reason. This is why a change is as good as a rest … as otherwise we can become embroiled in gossip and small talk which is not good for progress. Don’t mention ‘fence’. Heaven knows what I’ve done wrong now? Yet, we must remain detached and on track for self improvement as life is very short. We are born alone – we die alone and as I always say, ‘ the bit in the middle is to embrace’.

I am enjoying work but it does scare me, as you sort of morph into a person who is in a state of constant giving and this can distract us from our true purpose during our own unique pathway. But this can change. This can change with will power in conjunction with the universe and the light that goes with it. To share love – to not judge and to accept one another regardless of our backgrounds and circumstances. To not intoxicate our brains with problems and addictions – but to find solace with nature and healthy eating in order to promote a longer and more substantial life. To find space for our own time. To avoid jealousy and other worthless emotions. We are one.

I do hope you appreciate the beautiful strawberry moon and a very happy Daddy Day to my one. I had better go as otherwise I will return to Blackpool with nothing done and that is a road to failure. I have a pile of tasks to sort out this week. A constant battle, a battle that I do not entertain. I like it simple. All is well. I wish you the same. Love my kids. Love my family. Love my friends. Nothing will change that and nothing should want to. Love is everything.

By the way I still have my seagull he has visited almost daily now since last year. An ongoing blissful friendship. He drops shells on my head and you may be surprised to know he is actually shy. He is a feathered diplomat. A messenger for peace! Bless my little fluffy fella.

Smudging Wand #Lavender American #Cedar all the way from Hamburg #Holistic #Cleansing

I usually use White Sage Wands for smudging but fancied something different. Two of my favourite scents. Lavender combined with American Cedar. It’s in a lovely rustic package with a handwritten card.

Smudging is ideal for refreshing and cleansing space. Clearing negativity and revitalising energy. You burn it and smudge any area you wish. I light mine for a few seconds only. They have plenty of life if you use them wisely.

(For grown ups only – they are a fire hazard, by the way …)

Hand-made with love all the way from Hamburg.

Can’t wait to use this on the sacred space in Wales!

You can find these on Amazon here Smudging Wands.

Where Mother Nature resides in all life – we must bow before her – Insight and #Photography

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A manifestation of all that slept to Earth’s core with blissful growing and contemplation – before revealing the decadence of colour, substance and variety above ground for Spring. Where Mother Nature embodies all that is pure and of the divine in her heavenly soil.

There is joy in new life in all that we see.

We slow down to befriend fairies, find the unknown below leaf covered stems. The bountiful mystery of the earth we behold. Sacred to all – known by few. The gateway being love of the infinite however we distinguish or recognise – Mother Nature finds those destined for great things in the now to grow and change alongside her with cyclical landscape.

The Linestrider #Tarot – #Review by Tiffany Belle Harper

Earlier this week I treated myself to The Linestrider Tarot via Amazon. As a tarot lover I enjoy changing my deck periodically as ‘I find’ it helps to rejuvenate tired patterns.

Something about the illustrations compelled me to choose this pack of cards. I’m not disappointed. They’re just stunning. So feminine … delicate yet precise, with intuitive deliverance. Combing nature and our animal kingdom with astrology/numerology. Each card has a selection of plants and herbs that relate – making these great for paganistic and Wicca ways too.

I love the minimalist layout i.e, white background – the reverse being a power blue die splash effect. The cards are smaller than many modern day packs. I like this concept. For me this makes readings more seamless – less clumsy. Many decks being thick and rigid.

The cards are great quality. Each full of symbols, connectives, being abstract yet poignant.

With tarot, we’re drawn to packs that work best with our consciousness. I believe I shall enjoy the new bond with divination the Linestrider Tarot offer.

The pack comes with an absolutely intriguing book. ‘The Linestrider’s Journey.’ So very well presented – offering an easy to navigate description of each card, symbols and base point meaning/s. Also giving examples/variations of how the interpretation could differ set amongst or nesting with other cards in the deck.

Traditional standard of 22 major and 56 minor – so reading methods tarot enthusiasts may possess need not change. If anything … Linestrider are capable of increasing perception. Where we can dip in and out of many whimsical yet conceptual realms to enhance our reading experience. As though there’s new opportunity of the unknown tapping unexplored corners and twists in our dimensional advancement.

Tarot is a way to connect the many myriads of messages available to us as a means of connectives using the elements in every aspect (and beyond…) A deck should always be cleansed, used wisely and without bias, ego or judgement. I have found in the past some illustrations to be too controlling in the suggestive, yet this deck leaves open a gate of insight in a subtle way, thus expanding the opportunity to delve into new areas of the mystic subconscious.

I suppose I’d describe the artwork as a sort of ‘elven’ purity meets ‘Nouveau.’

Well done to Siolo Thompson on your new project. Clearly years of work, love and meditation have gone to this wonderful, fresh new journey. I just had to leave some feedback, as I’m delighted with my new bond. (Pictures used are the samples taken from the homepage of the Linestrider Tarot website.)
