Kirkstall Bridge Inn is my most visited eatery/pub in Leeds. It’s an independent venue with really cheery staff, splendid home cooked grub and walls clad in nostalgia. It’s won numerous awards and when you go along you will see why. It’s pet friendly, children welcome too. They do a great Sunday lunch and also offer a vegetarian menu.
I normally have the fish and chips. The food is presented in an artisan way. The coffee is fantastic and each time I visit I get chatting to very friendly locals. It’s one of the places you can go to on your own and find others doing the same. There’s a load of locally brewed ales too. They try to keep the theme of things community based. If every open house was just like this, I’d never eat at home.
