Dear Monica on your 60th Birthday weekend

May this weekend be filled with love and joy for you and all who love you. You are one of the most amazing people I’ve met in this life. Sometimes, it seems there’s so much badness in the world as a result of greed, ego and rivalry. Then we meet someone so special, everything is put into perspective.

Each time I visit your home, I come away feeling uplifted and inspired by all the good work you do and so modestly. You are beautiful in every way possible. If the world had more like you, there’d be such peace.

60th

You have given your life to helping those less fortunate. I don’t know how you carry the sorrow you have known, inflicted ‘mainly’ upon ‘children.’ You are a giving, caring, wonderful lady. You deserve the best birthday ever. And every day ‘for you’ should be blessed with Angel Dust and Fairy Showers of magical glitter, colourful hearts and all that sparkles from the skies, falling all round you as you take each step on your journey.

Your family are so proud of you and you have raised such diamonds. Each of your daughters individually designated to doing such wonderful things for humanity. Thank you for allowing me into your lives. I will be thinking of you. I miss you all. I Love You. Give my love to the little darlings and the hounds. Tell the little girls in your loving care, I’ll see them soon and to always be strong. To stand in their power. They have your safety and they are blessed with their time in your trust.

Little treasures and moving on #diary

A blog to keep me sane. It’s the little things that matter. I’m finishing off my house in Leeds, to sell. It’s hard as it’s so cosy here, I forget my ‘heart’ journey. No matter where we put our most precious memories it’s home. I am so very transitional these days! Plus I’m also missing Annona the Van very much. Feel like just driving there right now.

I’ve had this picture for years. My neighbour found the print then framed it for me as a gift. I was living in Stratford Upon Avon at the time. It’s a Cree Indian prophecy. Powerful stuff.

This picture I purchased from a gallery at Lindisfarne (Holy Island). The artist went to visit his cousin, he had a drug problem and needed a change of scene. He never returned to The Midlands. He found peace whilst looking over the ocean – then, became an artist and secured a small gallery on the island. It’s him in the middle. I loved the story. (He makes reference to Vincent van Gogh by the way.)

This is just a colourful print and I’m sorry I can’t currently recall the artist but she’s great. I’ve a couple of her pieces.

These doors. I call them the ‘magic cupboards’ – working with Farrow and Ball paint here. It’s a reconstructed Victorian colour with ceramic handles I found in a junk shop.

And here’s Angel.

I’d better crack on now, I’ve had my blog fix.

Maybe you will like this music

shadows

It’s music that assists my heart and inner ‘self’. Yet there’s a lot of bad stuff out there than can lead to rebellion and violence instigated by music. I remember when my children were young, I banned a couple of their tastes from the house due to the words. They were vulnerable, impressionable. It’s funny, as now they share their music with me and I’m flattered. It makes me feel pretty cool.

Yet … there’s my own personal tastes that I seem to return to. I don’t have favourite films, there’s too many to choose from. I suppose my preference being with British screen although I will tell you a secret I do like Jennifer Lopez movies. I often source old snippets from YouTube too. Love Peter Sellers, Roger Moore, Rowan Atkinson.

So here’s a few of my favourite albums in no particular order. There’s lots more but I won’t bombard you …

TBH.
