I love making nests. This one is my writing hut in Warwickshire. Everything in it is second hand or I made/found/up-cycled. It cost absolutely nothing. It was beautiful at night – this is when I stayed in it most. I put lots of candle lanterns and solar lights in the tree outside of it. An enchanting little spot next to a farm and open fields. But listen … we can make a nest anywhere. You can even put a pop up tent outside in your yard and garden. But don’t make my mistake and leave the bedding in it whilst it rains. You end up getting damp. If you make an outdoor sleeping nest, please remember to bring in your bedding otherwise you could get a bug. Nests are fun and a great way to enjoy some time at home. When I was a child my Mum would turn a table upside down for me and put a big blanket over it so I could make a nest inside of it. The more creative you get the better you enjoy it and it’s a great way to be romantic … Tiff Xx

Hugely Motivational for All
How a well made bed should look. It’s not how much you spend. It is how well the bedding is washed and pressed and how you ensure there are no creases. There are however a few badly made ones on here, see if you can spot them. Anyway was just doing some other research and though I would share.

Emotionally Intelligent Perceptions with ‘Art’ ‘Belleva House’ by Tiffany Belle Harper
I have been working on the new website that won’t go live for ages. But I wanted to share this. This piece of art is ceramic. It is a skull (obviously). I love bones, we are mortally (eventually) our bones. I also have some human skull artwork too. It is true – art should take us away (or not be afraid to take us away) from our comfort zone. To challenge us and make us use our creative brain – expand and move into many new directions with our own styles of creativeness. Art can find ways to interpret our own unique perspective and it’s a great past time for socialising – especially those feeling depressed, lonely or isolated. For instance, making likeminded friends or being inspired enough to try new groups or skills. I use art and colour at work to keep the kids quiet. It tends to work, especially those under the autistic spectrum (I don’t believe in autism, personally though). Another topic …
It is proven that animal cruelty is one of the biggest weaknesses of mankind – and many who abuse children or inflict hatred towards the vulnerable will also take pleasure in acts of mental and physical cruelty/abuse towards animals, which often starts at a young age. Trophy Hunting is a vicious sport – it’s a form of stalking, harassment and pain with no end resolve. This ceramic skull to me, depicts an animal that died organically in the wild. How life transforms to bones. There are many quirks with my new project. The main being tranquility and a haven to find inner peace. Enjoy your day. Extremities don’t help anyone. Be kind. Be free to use your organic skills as we are all leaving our blueprints. Each day we all change, we grow, we learn. We can all be whatever we want. It doesn’t matter at all what anyone else thinks. Who is perfect? What is normal? Fuck all that.
Really excited about the future.

phew … finally I deliver
Been getting a lot done today. And also blogging here too which is good as usually I forget to mention progress. Anyway, I have chosen my colours for the woodwork in the hallways. The lighting is going to be awesome and the rest will be white. Tiff. X
bunk addiction #diary
Well … it is Tuesday – the UK has just had a bank holiday which means a long weekend. I don’t know why they are called ‘bank’ holidays as the banks are usually taking it easy. I’ve been talking with a colleague about furniture. It is official – I have a bunk bed addiction. I cannot stop looking at the things. We can improvise space when we create a sleeping area. I suppose the fact I slept on a floor for a few years has made me appreciate the importance of sleeping well. I was homeless for a while. But the main reason I slept near the ground was to show myself to appreciate having my own home when I finally got back up. I didn’t want to take anything for granted. I almost felt ‘unworthy’ to have a mattress. I felt guilty for those who did not. So I suppose it was a sort of silent vigil. I often do similar and just go into my tent with the bare essentials. It gives me a reality check. I never want to take anything for granted.
Now I’ve got a loft bed. It’s a long story but I don’t use it. When I stay at my house, I sleep
on the top floor in the attic. Reason being the loft bed which is on the first floor, is so close to the ceiling I have almost knocked myself out on it. Plus, I fell asleep one evening only to wake the next morning with the blinds open in full view of the entire street ‘naked.’ I must have looked as though I was floating?! I love bunk and loft beds because no matter whether you live in one room or a mansion you can create a nest type feeling. I don’t know … perhaps it’s my inner child. Making dens will never tire me.
Oh my gosh, it’s been lovely weather in the UK. I hope other places on earth have experienced the sunshine. It’s just so uplifting. I dislike the dark nights. I know it’s when we get inwardly crafty but it makes me feel so ill when there’s too much dark. Spring is a little late but at last it is here. I feel so blessed. Thank you Mr Sunshine – you are loved! Tiff. X
