Today I am Magical by Tiffany Belle Harper

I desire to be free of all that dulls my appetite for adventure. I wish to run naked around the block, sprinkle feathers in to wet concrete. Then I’ll learn how to fly. Yes I’ll cultivate my own wings. They’ll be made of black orchids and pink willow buds with veins from the rainbow where unicorns dwell.

I want to pick wild flowers when ten more grow straight away. I’ll sit by a stream and sing songs to the newts and dragon flies.  There’ll be fairies dancing on my shoulder whilst I borrow a harp from angels.

I’ll turn my back to the wind where devils once travelled, blessing the air with silver dust, that lights the sky. A place where only free spirits fly.
