I recently went away and broke my video camera. It wasn’t worth much so no big drama. I don’t spend a lot of money on gadgets as I’d only lose or break them. Half the time they’re in a tent with me (if I’m at an event or feeling reclusive) so it’s foolish to carry around expensive hardware.
I was going to buy a camera with a big fluffy microphone and a super duper lens etc but then thought ‘what’s the point, it’s only a hobby?’
So I went with my heart and got this diddy little thing. A Drift Stealth 2 video camera. It’s about 3″ long. Tiny !! I can strap it on my head too !! lol. Going on adventures. But first I must learn how to do this. Apparently, I have to unscrew the base to add the HD Card. This could be fiddlier than I first thought? A YouTube job next. Ah!

I’ve been looking into these little video cameras also. The GoPro seems to be so over priced, compared to the competition. And reviews seem to agree that there are other cameras for $40- $60 that work just fine. Let us know how this works!

I’ve not looked into the one you have, yours looks REALLY small!! I was looking into ones that look exactly like a gopro. I want to use it kayaking and in my car. Nothing really high quality, just enough to record a kayak trip or an idiot hitting my car. 😉😉
Same here more or less. I was foolish. I am used to a preview screen. The problem being you cannot see whether you are recording the right target? So not good for interviews etc? I am charging it up. I think best thing is to go out and try it? I am confused as to how anyone can see what they are recording is in the right spot?
Yeah, I’d be lost w/o a preview screen. I watched the review video… It does have nice quality to the recording.
